Iaccidenally upgraded the firmware which my r4i card didn't support and so the DSi keeps showing "There is nothing inserted in the So guys, please helping me how to downgrade the firmware. I have just bought this DSi 3 days ago. And i don't have enough money to buy a new r4i card, so don't ask me to do that. Thanks. Solution

Country Dec 18, 2012. #3. Well, I guess you'd have to go with the R4i Gold. I was going to suggest the M3i Zero, but you updated your DSi to 1.4.5, and they haven't made a fix for it yet. Or you could buy an Acekard 2i or Supercard DSTWO updated for 1.4.5, and then no longer update if there is an update available. F.
Thatcard looks like an older version of the r4i sdhc card and it may only work on dsi / dsi xl system up to firmware version 1.4 . 1.4.5 is the latest (and last) update that came to the DSi and I know the r4 cards were updated to support it.
